Fitness Superstore continues to grow

Fitness Superstore is delighted to announce the expansion of its Northampton based headquarters as the business continues to grow.
Fitness Superstore, the largest retailer of fitness equipment in the UK, has expanded its Northampton headquarters by 30,000 square feet as a result of the increasing growth of the company and its offering. The £1.6 million expansion is across three areas including its fulfilment centre, commercial showroom and office space.
As the business continued to experience growth, it was decided that it was crucial to expand in order to cope with the changes this inevitably brings. The business is thrilled to have increased the size of its fulfilment centre to provide additional space for a number of new product ranges including Horizon and Vision Fitness. This also provides more space for the increase in sales.
The company is aware of its clients’ needs and this is why its 9 fitness showrooms are of high importance. When making a fitness equipment purchase, the ability to view and test products before making an investment is crucial for many clients. The showrooms also offer a chance for customers to seek advice and learn more from Fitness Superstore’s expert staff. It’s with this in mind that the company has increased their largest showroom in Northampton - previously 6,000 square feet - to 8,000. This allows for additional display space and to cope with the growing number of customer visits. They have also added a new, 3,000 square foot dedicated commercial showroom.
Another direct result of the business’s growth is additional staffing to ensure customers’ needs continue to be met, whilst helping to drive the company forward to achieve its future plans. 3,000 square feet of extra office space is now making room for more sales and customer service staff, as well as the expanding e-commerce and marketing team.
