TRAINING IN HIGH-DEFINITION
Crammed with features, the top-of-the-range R40 Touch delivers high definition display together with an interactive touchscreen. A sophisticated design, the 10” screen displays all your training feedback, while 17 stimulating workout programmes re there to ensure you stay motivated and on track with your goals. This includes the highly-acclaimed SPRINT 8 interval workout, medically proven to boost energy, reduce body fat and promote lean muscle mass.
With the R40, performance monitoring is taken care of. It features workout tracking through Nike + iPod, as well as heart rate monitoring with the free Polar chest strap and wireless receiver. It also includes a journal-style workout calendar that stores data for multiple users so you’re kept constantly informed of how you’re doing.
DISCOVER THE REAL-WORLD
As if 17 workouts weren’t enough to inspire you, the R40 Touch console also features Virtual Active programming which takes you through stunning destinations using footage from real-world locations. The video playback changes speed to suit your pace and the resistance adjusts to your terrain so that it feels like you’re truly cycling through your chosen location. Passport-ready, you can also bring the experience to the big screen by linking up wirelessly to your home television using Passport Media Player (sold separately).

A Comfort Arc, breathe-easy mesh seat with unique lumbar support provides just the right cushioning and support, while the step-thru design allows easy access and adjustable, self-balancing pedals provide additional stability. Created with user-experience and comfort in mind, the durable flywheel and ECB-Plus Magnetic Resistance work seamlessly together to power 20 levels of resistance so you can enjoy a smooth ride no matter how far you push it!
The R40 Recumbent Cycle is also available with Classic or Elegant consoles.
