York 6' International Black Oxide Olympic Bar (28.5mm)

The York Barbell6 ft International Black Oxide Bar is a strikingly attractive alternative to a traditional chrome barbell. The 100,000 psi tensile strength bar is finished in a black oxide coating and features hard chrome sleeves. The bar is an excellent choice for performing static. Highly controlled, slow movements such as chest presses, deadlifts and squats, as it is less flexible and more rigid. The bar is the perfect weight for Olympic weightlifting, and features knurling with single markings to encourage correct hand positioning and offers a secure grip. The sleeves are machined to a precise 1.975” diameter to accommodate 2” Olympic plates with the sleeve secured on the bar with a bar end nut and spring pin.
