Adidas X-800 Power Stride Elliptical Cross Trainer

The adidas X-800 Power Stride Elliptical Cross Trainer is built to offer smooth and comfortable full-body workouts at home, with plenty of options for adjusting the intensity and movement to suit your training. A 6kg Performance+ flywheel works with the computer-controlled magnetic resistance system to provide a natural striding motion, while 32 resistance levels offer workouts from steady-state cardio sessions to more demanding exercises. One of the X-800’s key features is its adjustable stride. The stride length can be set between 46 and 58cm across six positions, making it easier to find a comfortable motion for different users. Quick stride handle keys allow you to make adjustments without interrupting your workout, while the dual-action, multi-grip handlebars engage both your upper and lower body as you train. There are 17 programmes to choose from, including 12 pre-set workouts and four target programmes based around time, distance, calories or pulse, alongside a manual mode. The LED console displays your key training data including speed, time, distance, calories, pulse, Watts, RPM and resistance, while a recovery function gives you another way to monitor your progress after a session. The adidas X-800 works with Kinomap, with a 30-day free trial included, as well as the adidas Console+ app. You can use a smartphone or tablet (not included) with the integrated holder, while Bluetooth speakers provide audio during your workout. A USB-C charging port helps keep compatible devices powered while you train. Comfort is another focus, with NRG Tech cushioned footplates helping to provide a more comfortable platform during longer sessions. Hand pulse sensors offer a convenient way to monitor your heart rate on-screen, while the built-in Bluetooth Smart receiver can connect to a compatible chest belt for wireless heart-rate monitoring (heart rate monitor sold separately). Despite its substantial 99kg construction, the X-800 has a relatively compact 143 x 86cm footprint, making it a practical option for a home gym where floor space matters. Front-mounted transport wheels make it easier to reposition, while levelling feet help keep the machine stable on your floor.
