The ratio, combined with the heavy stacks, makes this machine ideal for both isolated and compound movements, letting you perform everything from chest flys and tricep extensions to cable crossovers and low rows with unmatched fluidity. Unlike standard functional trainers, the MuscleSquad Phase 3 (2:1) 150kg Functional Trainer is equipped with pivot arms that offer an even greater range of motion. Not just adjustable vertically, the pivot arms can be extended outwards for wider exercises like chest flys, or closer together for narrow movements like two-handle rows, letting you combine the weight of both stacks. The integrated smith bar (a MuscleSquad standard) provides the stability and safety of fixed-plane training with a base resistance of 20kg. Compatible with Olympic weight plates, the smith bar can be racked on 13 positions along the full length of the front uprights. With a pair of j-hooks and spotter arms included, you can perform all your big lifts off the front of the rack like a typical squat rack with your own barbell and weight plate set. A maximum weight capacity of 350kg means it’s ready for whatever you can throw at it. The rack also includes laser-cut storage, providing convenient organisation for attachments, handles and accessories – essential for maintaining a clean and tidy home gym.
