Sophisticated pillow block, sealed ball bearings and extra-large, self-lubricating oil-lite bronze bushings are used at all pivot points for precision movement and friction-free performance.

DuraFirm Pads

Cables

Nylon-coated cables are constructed of 2200lb test, galvanized steel in a 7 x 19 cable pattern. The cables are engineered to meet U.S. military specifications and carry a 4:1 safety factor against stretching and breakage.

Pulleys

Impact resistant, Body-Solid pulleys are precision matched to cable diameter and engineered for precise cable tracking. Fiberglass reinforced nylon pulleys revolve on sealed ball bearings that never need maintenance and provide a lifetime of friction-free performance.

Frames

All Body-Solid machine frames feature all-4-side welded construction instead of the typical 2-side stitch welds that have become common in the industry. Body-Solid use heavy-duty 2 x 2", 2 x 3" and 2 x 4" high tensile strength steel in mainframes along with hardened, heavy gauge bolts and reinforcement plates for rock-solid stability.
