As practical as it is economical, the MuscleSquad Multi-Functional Trainer combines a squat rack, a functional trainer and a smith machine into one space-saving frame. Featuring dual rear weight stacks, you can perform all the isolation movements you’re used to from a typical cable setup. These 72kg weight stacks are set on a 1:1 ratio, meaning the weight you select at the stack is the weight you’ll feel at the end of the cable, with each plate increasing in 4.5kg increments. This makes the Multi-Functional Trainer particularly ideal for heavier lifts like lat pulldowns and low rows. Both weight stacks are fully shrouded to minimise the risk of accidents, with an open front for fast and easy weight changes. There are 16 levels of adjustment up and down the stainless-steel uprights for true cable training versatility. The Multi-Functional Trainer is fitted with a smith machine system, including a counterbalanced smith bar with improved knurling for a familiar barbell feel. The smith machine system is rated to 250kg, is compatible with Olympic weight plates and even comes with a shoulder pad for extra comfort. The bar itself weighs 15kg, but with a 5kg counterweight on either side, actually feels like just 5kg. With a pair of j-hooks and safety arms included, you can perform all your big compound movements off the front of the rack like a typical squat rack with your own barbell and weight plate set. A maximum weight capacity of 350kg means its ready for whatever you can throw at it.
