Built following demand for a 2-metre rack that offers a commercial look and functionality without compromising on performance, MuscleSquad’s Phase 3 Short Cable Rack with Smith Machine delivers everything you’d expect from a full-sized rack in a smaller, space-efficient footprint. Ensuring durability and stability under heavy use, the rack is built from 75x75mm, 3mm-thick powder-coated steel. Each side of the rack is equipped with a 90kg weight stack, and the rack features an innovative four-pulley design – two fixed pulleys operating on a 1:1 ratio and two adjustable along the uprights on a 2:1 ratio. This gives you 45kg of effective resistance on the 2:1 pulleys and the full 90kg on the 1:1 cables, offering the capacity for heavy lifts and a wide variety of functional exercises that require more cable travel. Standing at around 2 metres tall, the Phase 3 Compact Cable Squat Rack is optimized for users up to approximately 6’2”, offering a full range of motion across all lifts, including lat pulldowns and low rows, without the weight stack interfering with the frame. The adjustable pull-up station has been thoughtfully redesigned with an angled grip system to improve ergonomics and ensure easy access in and out of the rack without obstruction, all while maintaining the 2m height limit. Compatible with Olympic weight plates, the integrated smith bar provides the stability and safety of fixed-plane training with a base resistance of 20kg. Among other attachments and accessories, the MuscleSquad Phase 3 Short Cable Rack with Smith Machine comes with a pair of j-hooks and spotter arms that let you use an Olympic barbell off the front of the machine – perfect for your favourite heavy compound movements. These attachments are easy to adjust up and down the uprights (1” hole sizing throughout).
